911 Operator is an emergency services management simulator developed by Polish studio Jutsu Games and published under the Games Operators label of PlayWay. It launched on PC on February 24, 2017, and later came to Mac, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
You sit at a dispatcher's desk and answer incoming calls. Some callers need first-aid instructions, some need police, firefighters, or paramedics, and some are pranks you should ignore. Your choices in each conversation decide whether the situation ends well.
A live city map shows incidents as they appear. You assign the right number of units, manage equipment and staff, and handle several emergencies at once as shifts grow busier.
The game can generate a playable map from almost any real city in the world, and Steam Workshop support adds community content. Career and free play modes let you either progress through cities or set your own rules. It is a single-player game.
Calls range from minor incidents to fires, traffic accidents, and crimes in progress. Some situations escalate if you send too few units, while sending too many leaves the rest of the city exposed. Budget limits make every hire and vehicle purchase a trade-off.
It suits players who enjoy management sims, quick decision-making, and a look at the pressure of real emergency work.
PC and Mac: PC keys usually activate on Steam and run on very modest hardware.
Consoles: PS4, Xbox One, and Switch versions redeem on PlayStation Network, a Microsoft account, or Nintendo eShop.
DLC and sequel: Add-ons such as First Response need the base game. 112 Operator is the separate sequel.
