A Little to the Left is a relaxing puzzle game developed by Canadian indie studio Max Inferno and published by Secret Mode. It launched on November 8, 2022 for PC and Mac, reached Nintendo Switch a day later, and arrived on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on February 15, 2024.
Each level shows a small, messy scene: pencils in a drawer, books on a shelf, frames on a wall, or cutlery in a tray. You drag and drop the items until they match a hidden sense of order, such as by size, color, shape, or pattern.
Many puzzles have more than one correct solution, and a star system tracks the ones you have found. A cheeky cat sometimes wanders in to knock things over, which adds humor rather than pressure. There are no timers, and a Let It Be option lets you skip any level.
The base game includes over 100 puzzles across themed chapters, plus a Daily Tidy mode with a fresh puzzle each day. Optional hints show a faint outline of the target arrangement when you get stuck. It is a single-player experience with mouse-only, keyboard-only, touch, and controller support, plus color and camera comfort options.
The hand-drawn art, soft sound design, and gentle humor keep the mood calm. Most puzzles take only a few minutes, which makes the game easy to pick up for a short break and equally easy to play through in longer sessions.
It suits players who enjoy short, calming sessions, tactile puzzles, and the satisfaction of putting things in order.
PC and Mac: PC keys usually activate on Steam and run on modest hardware with about 1.3 GB of storage.
Consoles: Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox versions redeem on Nintendo eShop, PlayStation Network, or a Microsoft account.
DLC: Cupboards & Drawers and Seeing Stars are separate add-ons that need the base game.
