Adobe Acrobat Pro is a subscription-based, all-in-one PDF solution that enables users to create, edit, convert, sign, and protect PDF documents across Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS devices. Unlike the perpetual-licence Acrobat Pro 2020, Acrobat Pro (DC/2024) is continuously updated with the latest features, including AI-powered tools for summarising documents, rephrasing text, and generating custom PDFs from prompts, as well as cloud-based collaboration and e-signature capabilities.
The software includes advanced PDF editing tools such as text and image editing directly within PDFs, conversion to and from Microsoft Office formats without losing formatting, built-in Optical Character Recognition (OCR) for scanned documents, and the ability to redact sensitive information, compare PDFs, and add password protection or permissions. It also integrates with Adobe Acrobat online services, allowing users to access their files from any browser, share large documents via link, and collaborate in real time with comments and annotations. Buyers comparing an Adobe Acrobat Pro CD key should note that this subscription version includes cloud storage, mobile apps, and the latest AI-powered tools, which are not available in the perpetual-licence Acrobat Pro 2020.
