Anima Gate of Memories: I&II Remaster is a third-person action RPG collection developed by Anima Project and published by Anima Publishing. It released on November 7, 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and a Nintendo Switch 2 version has been announced.
The package combines the original Anima: Gate of Memories and its companion story, Anima: The Nameless Chronicles, both remastered with overhauled visuals and rebalanced combat. Each game follows different characters drawn into a hidden war in the world of Gaia.
Combat blends fast action with RPG progression. In Gate of Memories, the Dual System lets you switch between two characters with a single button to chain combos, and every character has a large set of skills to develop and customize.
The story is inspired by the Anima: Beyond Fantasy tabletop RPG books. In the first game you explore the Tower of Arcane, an interconnected world built from memories, and your choices shape the journey and the fate of the characters. Both campaigns are single-player.
Progression follows a traditional RPG structure. You earn experience, unlock new abilities, equip gear and tailor each character's skill set to suit an aggressive or defensive style. Multiple endings and story branches give the campaigns replay value, and the remastered package lets newcomers experience both chapters of the saga in one place without hunting down the older standalone releases.
It suits fans of character action games, branching stories and fantasy lore, and players who missed the original releases from the 2010s.
Activation: PC keys activate on Steam; console versions redeem on PlayStation Network or a Microsoft account.
