Atomfall is a first-person survival-action game developed and published by Rebellion, the studio behind Sniper Elite. It was released on March 27, 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One, and it was part of Xbox Game Pass at launch.

The game is set in an alternate 1960s Britain, five years after the 1957 Windscale nuclear fire. A large area of northern England has been sealed off, and you wake up inside the quarantine zone with no memory of who you are. Cults, bandits, soldiers, and stranger threats now share the countryside.

Instead of following quest markers, you gather Leads. Notes, conversations, and clues point you toward new places and people, and you decide which threads to chase. Many characters can be helped, ignored, or betrayed, and the choices you make shape which ending you reach.

Survival is part of every trip. You scavenge supplies, craft bandages and weapons, barter with traders, and manage a heart-rate system that affects aim and stamina. Combat mixes melee weapons, bows, and firearms, with ammo often in short supply. Atomfall is a single-player game with no co-op mode.

Atomfall suits players who like open exploration, mystery solving, and a strong British Cold War setting more than nonstop shooting.
