Bassmaster Fishing 2022 is the official video game of B.A.S.S., developed and published by Dovetail Games and released on PC on October 28, 2021. Steam now lists it under the shorter name Bassmaster Fishing. Built on Unreal Engine, it focuses on competitive bass tournaments rather than casual lake fishing, with fully licensed boats, motors and lures from brands such as Skeeter, Yamaha and Missile Baits.
The career mode takes you through the College Series, the Opens and the Elite Series on the way to the Bassmaster Classic, with tournament announcer Dave Mercer hosting your weigh-ins. You manage sponsors, build your following with bigger catches, and compete against 10 real pro anglers, including Scott Martin and Hank Cherry, across 8 real-world venues from the Sabine River backwaters to Lake Hamilton. Tools such as an underwater camera, a GPS map you can mark up and fish AI that moves around structure reward reading the water.
Online, you can climb global leaderboards, join cross-play modes or try Bassmaster Royale. It suits players who want a sim with tournament structure; if you prefer a broader catch list, Dovetail's earlier Fishing Sim World is the related pick. A Bassmaster Fishing 2022 CD key activates the game on its listed platform, and the official Steam page lists every venue and equipment DLC.
