Besiege is a physics-based building and sandbox game developed and published by Spiderling Studios. After years in early access, it fully launched on February 18, 2020 for PC, macOS, and Linux. Xbox versions followed in 2022, and PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch versions arrived in 2024.

Your job is to build machines that complete objectives. Using more than 70 blocks, from wheels and hinges to cannons, flamethrowers, and springs, you assemble anything from a simple battering ram to a flying war machine, then watch the physics engine decide whether it works or falls apart.

The single-player campaign has 55 destructible levels spread across four island nations. Goals range from destroying castles and wiping out armies to carrying objects or crossing dangerous terrain, and there is rarely only one correct solution.

On PC, Besiege adds a level editor, Steam Workshop support with a huge library of community machines, and multiplayer for building, cooperating, or fighting with friends online or over LAN. The Splintered Sea expansion adds water, new blocks, and a 10-level oceanic campaign.

Besiege suits creative players, engineering fans, and anyone who enjoys trial and error with spectacular results. Sandbox levels let you test designs freely without objectives or time limits.
