Big Walk is a cooperative multiplayer adventure developed by House House, the Melbourne studio behind Untitled Goose Game, and published by Panic. It released on August 4, 2026 for PC, macOS, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2.
Groups of two to twelve players set out together across a wide-open world based loosely on Wilsons Promontory National Park in Victoria, Australia. You can walk at your own pace, hang out, watch the sunset or head off to find the next challenge.
Communication is the core idea. Proximity voice chat makes voices fade with distance, echo in corridors and muffle through walls, so groups easily drift apart. When speech is not enough, you point, wave, sing or use walkie-talkies, laser pointers, binoculars, megaphones, flares and whiteboards to get your message across.
Many puzzles limit how players can talk, so teams must invent new ways to share information. Solving them unlocks shortcuts such as a train and a ski lift, and the adventure builds toward a hand-crafted ending. Cross-play lets friends on different platforms join the same group, and accessibility options include text chat and puzzle skipping.
It suits friend groups who enjoy social co-op games, relaxed exploration and puzzles that reward teamwork and creative communication. The lobby host keeps the save data, so friends can drop in and out between sessions without losing progress.
PC: PC keys activate on Steam and run on Windows and macOS.
Consoles: The PS5 version is redeemed on PlayStation Network and the Switch 2 version on the Nintendo eShop.
Group size: Online sessions support 2 to 12 players, and cross-play connects PC, PS5 and Switch 2.
Before you buy, check the activation platform and region on each offer, and read how to activate your CD key if you are new to digital keys. For more details, visit the official Big Walk website.
