Breathedge is a single-player survival adventure set in outer space. It was developed by RedRuins Softworks, published by HypeTrain Digital, and fully released on PC on February 25, 2021, with PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch versions in April 2021 and a PlayStation 5 version in February 2022.

You play as an ordinary man whose huge transport ship suddenly crashes in deep space. Left in a field of wreckage with an immortal chicken as your only companion, you must survive and find out what caused the disaster.

The survival loop centers on oxygen, food, and gear, so keeping an eye on your air supply is essential. You scavenge debris, craft tools and spacesuit upgrades, and push deeper into the wreckage as you unlock better equipment that lets you stay outside longer.

Exploration expands with vehicles. You can pilot craft, take control of space stations, and visit derelict areas that hide story clues and resources. The story is split into chapters that open up new areas of the wreck.

Full controller support and cloud saves are available on Steam. Breathedge suits players who enjoy crafting survival games with a clear story and absurd humor, and who prefer a solo experience over multiplayer.
