Brigandine Abyss is a tactical strategy RPG developed by Adglobe and published by Happinet, with NIS America handling the Western release. It launched in late August 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.

The story is set 200 years after the magical Brigandine armor ended the ambitions of the Abyssloa Empire. Now the Kingdom of Solginat has grown into a disquieting superpower, rulers of several nations gather to denounce it, and the rebirth of the Abyssloa Empire sets a new war in motion across the continent of Meltitea.

Play alternates between two phases. In the Organization Phase you train units, manage tasks, and prepare your army. In the Attack Phase you choose whether to invade neighboring nations for resources and personnel. Battles are turn-based on a hexagonal grid, where defeating an enemy leader can force the whole unit to retreat.

Story Mode follows six distinct nations, each with its own narrative. Mission Mode opens up 24 playable nations with their own win conditions, which adds a lot of replay value. The game is single-player only and includes adjustable difficulty. Since battles have no timed inputs, you can think through every move at your own pace, and careful task management between battles decides how strong your army becomes.

It suits fans of grand strategy and tactics games, including players of the earlier Brigandine: The Legend of Runersia.

• PC: PC keys activate on Steam. The game requires 64-bit Windows 11.
