Call of Duty: Vanguard is a first-person shooter developed by Sledgehammer Games and published by Activision. It launched on November 5, 2021 for PC, PlayStation and Xbox, and arrived on Steam on March 8, 2023. Like the studio's Call of Duty: WWII, it returns the series to the Second World War, this time on a global scale.
The single-player campaign moves across several fronts: you dogfight over the Pacific, airdrop into France, defend Stalingrad as a sniper and push through enemy lines in North Africa. Multiplayer launched with more than 20 maps, 16 of them built for core modes, and Treyarch developed the Zombies experience. The game also supports cross-progression and cross-generation play.
