Capcom Fighting Collection is a compilation of ten classic arcade games developed and published by Capcom. It was released on June 24, 2022 for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
The lineup centers on the Darkstalkers series, with all five arcade entries included: Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors, Night Warriors: Darkstalkers' Revenge, Vampire Savior: The Lord of Vampire, Vampire Hunter 2, and Vampire Savior 2. The last two had never been released outside Japan before this collection.
The rest of the set adds Hyper Street Fighter II: The Anniversary Edition, the puzzle game Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo, the chibi-style brawler Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix, the mech fighter Cyberbots: Full Metal Madness, and Red Earth, which makes its first appearance on home consoles here. Most games let you choose between the Japanese and English versions.
Every game supports online play with rollback netcode, ranked matches, casual lobbies, and spectating. Local versus play is also available. For newcomers, there is a training mode, an optional one-button special move setting, and save states for quick retries. A Museum section holds more than 500 illustrations and design documents, plus over 400 music tracks.
Capcom Fighting Collection suits fans of 1990s arcade fighters, Darkstalkers players who want every version in one place, and anyone looking for a classic fighting game library with solid online play.
PC: Most PC keys activate on Steam. The collection is light on hardware and needs only about 4 GB of storage.
Consoles: PS4 codes are redeemed on PlayStation Network, Xbox One codes on a Microsoft account, and Switch codes on the Nintendo eShop. Online play on Switch requires Nintendo Switch Online.
First vs. second collection: This is the original 2022 collection. Capcom Fighting Collection 2 is a separate release with a different set of games.
