Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector is a narrative RPG developed by Jump Over The Age and published by Fellow Traveller. It launched on January 31, 2025 for PC, macOS, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch, with a Nintendo Switch 2 version following in June 2026.
You are a Sleeper, a human mind copied into an artificial body. On the run from the corporation that built you and the gang that wants to control you, you escape with a pilot named Serafin and a battered ship called the Rig, then head into the Starward Belt.
Play is inspired by tabletop RPGs. Each cycle you roll dice and assign them to actions, where higher rolls give better odds. You pick a class, raise skills, and manage stress and supplies, so every decision has a cost.
The main loop revolves around contracts. You recruit crew members with their own skills and stories, take them on multi-step jobs, and upgrade the Rig to reach new locations. The game is single-player, text-heavy, and includes accessibility options such as adjustable text size and play without timed inputs.
It suits players who enjoy interactive fiction, thoughtful sci-fi, and low-pressure strategy. Newcomers do not need to play the first Citizen Sleeper.
PC and Mac: Most PC keys activate on Steam. The game runs on modest hardware and needs about 2 GB of storage.
Consoles: Console codes are redeemed on PlayStation Network, a Microsoft account, or the Nintendo eShop. Match the code to your console and region.
Sequel: This is a new story, not an expansion, so it does not require the original Citizen Sleeper.
Before you buy, check the activation platform and region on each offer, then follow our guide on how to activate your CD key. For more details, visit the official Citizen Sleeper website.
