Exploration and tension take priority over combat. You collect items and clues, solve puzzles around the mansion, and unlock full-motion video sequences that reveal the story piece by piece.

The live-action cast includes Neil Newbon as Chase and Ben Starr as Vinny Monroe, alongside performers such as Jane Perry, Alanah Pearce, Matthew Mercer, Travis Willingham, Laura Bailey, and Sam Lake. Surgent Studios is the team behind Tales of Kenzera: ZAU.

Dead Take is a single-player experience. It suits fans of story-heavy horror, FMV games, and slow-burn mysteries rather than action.
