Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise is an open-world survival horror adventure directed by Hidetaka "SWERY" Suehiro. It was developed by Toybox Inc. with White Owls, published by Rising Star Games, and released on Nintendo Switch on July 10, 2020, with a PC version following on June 11, 2022.

The story works as both a sequel and a prequel to the original Deadly Premonition. In present-day Boston, FBI agents Aaliyah Davis and Simon Jones reopen the Le Carre serial murder case. Through the memories of a former agent, you travel back to 2005 and play as Special Agent Francis York Morgan, who is known for talking to his imaginary friend Zach.

Most of the game takes place in Le Carre, a small Louisiana town you explore on foot or by skateboard. You question residents, gather clues, and fight through otherworldly areas, while side activities fill the gaps between case leads.

Mini-games include bowling, the Bayou Ride, and skateboard challenges. You can customize York's look and upgrade the skateboard for more speed and harder tricks. The game is single-player only, and there is no online component or co-op play.
