Deathloop is a first-person shooter developed by Arkane Lyon and published by Bethesda Softworks, released on PC and PlayStation 5 on September 13, 2021. Two rival assassins are trapped in a time loop on the island of Blackreef, repeating the same day forever. You play Colt, whose only way out is to assassinate eight key targets, called Visionaries, before the day resets.
Each loop is a chance to learn. You scout districts at different times of day, gather intel on targets, find new weapons and gain supernatural abilities, then use that knowledge to plan a better run. You can sneak through levels or go in guns blazing. Your rival Julianna hunts you throughout, and she can be AI-controlled or played by another person who invades your campaign. The online PvP is fully optional.
