Descenders Next is an extreme sports game developed by RageSquid, the studio behind Descenders, and published by No More Robots. It left Early Access and fully launched on July 21, 2025 for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.

The focus moves from bikes to boards. You carve down sprawling snowy mountains, winding dirt tracks, and trick parks, chaining jumps and grabs while managing speed and balance. Clean landings and stylish lines build your score, while mistakes send you tumbling.

Progress comes from tackling new routes and parks and steadily improving your skills. Physics-based controls reward practice, and runs range from fast descents to trick-heavy park sessions.

Multiplayer is a big part of the game. You can ride online with friends in co-op, compete against other players, and join cross-platform sessions between PC and Xbox. Solo play is also supported for players who prefer to ride alone.

Like the original Descenders, the game is built around learning the terrain and improving with each attempt. Runs are short, which makes it easy to retry a tricky section or jump into a quick session with friends.

Descenders Next suits fans of the original Descenders, board sports games, and anyone who enjoys skill-based downhill runs with friends.

Which version should you buy?

• PC: PC keys activate on Steam. The game is also sold through the Microsoft Store for Windows.

• Xbox: Xbox codes redeem on a Microsoft account and cover Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. There is no PlayStation or Switch version.
