Destroy All Humans! 2 - Reprobed is an open-world action adventure developed by Black Forest Games and published by THQ Nordic. It is a full remake of the 2006 game and was released on August 30, 2022 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. A Single Player Edition for PS4 and Xbox One followed in 2023.

You play as Crypto, the alien invader, who returns in the late 1960s to take revenge on the KGB for destroying his mothership. The story mixes Cold War spy parody with hippie-era humor, and Crypto must work with some of the humans he came to conquer.

Gameplay combines on-foot combat with alien weapons, mind powers, and disguises, plus saucer attacks that level whole city blocks. You harvest DNA from humans to upgrade Crypto's skills, and new tools like the Meteor Shower add to the classic arsenal.

The maps are much larger and more open than in the first remake, and they are based on fictional takes on real 1960s locations. On PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, a friend can join the full story in local two-player split-screen co-op.

It suits players who enjoy comedy, sandbox destruction, and remakes of classic PS2-era games.

Which version should you buy?

• PC: Most PC keys activate on Steam. A 64-bit Windows 10 system is required.

• PS5 and Xbox Series X|S: Console codes are redeemed on PlayStation Network or a Microsoft account. These versions include split-screen co-op.
