Die in the Dungeon is a turn-based roguelike strategy game developed by ATICO and published by HypeTrain Digital and Sidekick Publishing. The full version launched on PC (Windows and macOS) on May 1, 2026, and a Nintendo Switch version followed on September 17, 2026.
It works like a deckbuilder, but with dice instead of cards. Each turn you roll dice and place them on a board, where their position and combinations decide how much damage you deal and how well you defend. Smart placement can turn a weak roll into a strong turn.
As you move deeper into the dungeon, you add new dice, upgrade existing ones, and collect magical relics that change how your build works. Random encounters offer risky choices, and a lucky or unlucky roll can decide whether a gamble pays off.
Every run is different, so the game rewards experimenting with builds and learning how enemies behave. When a run ends, you start again with more knowledge of which dice and relics work well together.
Die in the Dungeon is single-player. It suits fans of deckbuilding roguelikes who want a fresh twist, players who enjoy short tactical turns, and anyone who likes the push-your-luck feel of rolling dice.
PC: PC keys activate on Steam. The Steam version supports Windows and macOS and needs about 1 GB of storage.
Nintendo Switch: The Switch version launched on September 17, 2026. Switch codes redeem on the Nintendo eShop.
Extras: A separate Supporter Pack is sold as DLC. Check whether a listing is the base game or the add-on.
Before you buy, check the activation platform and region on each offer, then follow our guide on how to activate your CD key. For screenshots and updates, see the official Die in the Dungeon Steam page.
