Drag x Drive is a sports game developed by Nintendo EPD and published by Nintendo. It was released on August 14, 2025 as a digital-only Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive, sold through the Nintendo eShop. It is one of the first games built around the Joy-Con 2 mouse controls.
The game is based on wheelchair basketball. You control a robot athlete in a wheelchair-like vehicle and play in matches between two teams of three. Each Joy-Con 2 controls one wheel: slide both across a table or your lap to roll forward, or push just one to turn. Haptic feedback lets you feel the surface under the wheels.
Shooting uses motion controls. You raise your arm and flick the Joy-Con toward the hoop, and longer shots earn more points. You can also raise a hand to call for a pass, hold your arms out to block a shot, or ram into opponents to knock the ball loose.
Matches take place in dark, neon-lit arenas. The edges of the court curve up into half-pipes, so you can ride the walls, pull off tricks, and slam dunk. The focus is on competitive team play rather than a story mode, and online matches pair you with players from around the world.
Drag x Drive suits Switch 2 owners who want a quick, physical team sport and a showcase for the new mouse controls. Expect a workout for your arms during longer sessions.
