Dungeons of Dreadrock is a puzzle adventure game created by German indie developer Christoph Minnameier. The game won awards in the indie scene, including first prize at Indie Clash. It first launched on mobile in January 2022, arrived on Steam for Windows PC on March 14, 2022, and released on Nintendo Switch in May 2022.

Every year a young boy is chosen to face the King of the Mountain, and this time it is your brother. You play as his sister, who follows him into the Dead King's crypt beneath Dreadrock Mountain to bring him back before it is too late.

The game takes the idea of classic grid-based dungeon crawlers and shifts the view to top-down. Each of the 100 levels is a compact puzzle room. You pull levers, step on pressure plates, dodge fireballs, smash or unlock doors and decipher scrolls while moving tile by tile.

Enemies range from zombies and dread beetles to ogres, dark elves, minotaurs and dragons, and many of them need clever thinking rather than brute force. Difficulty rises gradually, so early floors teach the rules before later rooms combine several mechanics at once. The game is single-player, and short levels make it easy to play in small sessions or on a handheld.
