Dying Light is a first-person open-world zombie survival game developed by Techland, the studio behind Dead Island. It launched in January 2015 and received years of post-launch updates and DLC, which helped it become one of the best-known zombie games on PC and consoles.
You play as Kyle Crane, an undercover operative sent into the quarantined city of Harran after a mysterious virus outbreak. Your mission takes you deep into a city overrun by the infected, where you must decide whether to complete your orders or help the survivors you meet.
Movement is a major part of the experience. Fluid parkour lets you climb buildings, leap between rooftops, and escape hordes on the streets below. Combat focuses on melee weapons that you scavenge, upgrade, and craft, with firearms and traps adding more options as you progress.
The day-night cycle changes everything. During the day, you explore and gather supplies. At night, powerful predators called Volatiles hunt you, making darkness genuinely dangerous but also more rewarding through experience bonuses.
Dying Light supports up to four-player online co-op for the full campaign, plus an optional Be the Zombie mode where one player invades another's game as a powerful infected hunter. Compare Dying Light key prices on CDKeyCompares, and see our guide on how to activate your CD key once you buy.
