Escape Academy is a first-person escape room puzzle game developed by Coin Crew Games and published by iam8bit Presents. It launched on July 14, 2022 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, and reached Nintendo Switch on September 12, 2023.

You enroll at a school that trains professional Escapists. Each lesson drops you into a themed room with a timer, and you search for clues, crack codes and link objects together to get out before time runs out.

The rooms come from designers with experience building real-life escape rooms, so puzzles reward careful observation and teamwork rather than guesswork. Challenges range from defusing a bomb during a tea party to climbing a tower that slowly fills with water.

The whole campaign can be played alone or in two-player co-op, either local or online split screen. A Rival Room mode turns puzzle solving into a head-to-head race between two players.

Between rooms you explore the campus and meet a colorful faculty, each with their own specialty and secrets. Escape Academy suits puzzle fans, couples and friends who enjoy short, focused brain teasers.

Rooms are short enough to finish in one sitting, and each one is graded on how well you perform, which gives a reason to replay a room and improve your result. Hints are available when you get stuck, so players can keep moving at their own pace without hunting for a walkthrough.
