What is Exoprimal?

Exoprimal is an online team-based action game developed and published by Capcom. It launched in July 2023 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.

The premise is simple and over the top: high-tech exosuits against huge swarms of dinosaurs. The story is set in 2040, when dinosaur outbreaks are appearing around the world. A corporation called Aibius has built an AI named Leviathan that predicts where outbreaks will occur, and pilots known as exofighters use advanced exosuits to fight back.

Exosuits are grouped into Assault, Tank, and Support roles, and each suit has its own weapons and abilities. You can switch suits during a match to counter enemy tactics or respond to what your team needs, so coordination matters more than individual skill alone.

The main mode, Dino Survival, pits two teams of five against each other as they race to complete missions while fending off waves of dinosaurs. Teams can also interfere with each other along the way. A PvE mode, Savage Gauntlet, focuses on cooperative play against tougher dinosaur threats.
