F1 Manager 2023 is an official Formula 1 management simulation developed and published by Frontier Developments. It was released on July 31, 2023 for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.
Instead of driving, you take the role of Team Principal at one of the ten teams on the 2023 grid. The season includes 23 races and six Sprint events, with new circuits such as the Las Vegas Strip Circuit. Every real driver, team, and car from the 2023 championship is included, along with the F2 and F3 feeder series.
Off the track, you manage the factory, research and build car parts, hire and develop staff, scout drivers, and keep the budget under the cost cap. On race weekends, you watch practice, qualifying, and the race in broadcast-style presentation while you call pit stops, choose tire strategies, and tell drivers when to push or save fuel and tires. The 2023 edition improves overtaking, racing lines, driver AI, and tire temperature modeling.
The new Race Replay mode lets you replay key moments from the real 2023 season. Starting Grid uses the actual grid positions from every race, and Race Moments drop you into a pivotal situation with a specific team, such as trying to win in Monaco with Aston Martin. The game is single-player.
F1 Manager 2023 suits Formula 1 fans who enjoy strategy, team building, and making race-day calls, and players who like detailed management sims.
Availability: F1 Manager 2023 has been removed from sale on Steam and the PlayStation Store. Existing owners keep access, but check that any key you buy can still be activated.
PC: Most PC keys activate on Steam. The game needs 64-bit Windows 10 and about 30 GB of storage.
Consoles: PlayStation codes are redeemed on PlayStation Network and Xbox codes on a Microsoft account. A Deluxe Edition with bonus content was also sold.
