Fate/hollow ataraxia REMASTERED is a visual novel developed by TYPE-MOON with fuzz Inc. and published by Aniplex. It was released in August 2025 for PC through Steam and for Nintendo Switch. It remasters the classic sequel to Fate/stay night, building on the 2014 version with full HD visuals.

This is the first time the game has an official English localization, alongside Simplified Chinese. Japanese voice acting is included, so the story is read in your chosen language while characters speak in Japanese.

The story takes place half a year after the Fifth Holy Grail War. Shirou Emiya and his friends are settling back into normal life in Fuyuki City. At the same time, the mage Bazett Fraga McRemitz awakens alongside Avenger, a Servant of a class that never existed in the previous war, and a new conflict begins.

Like other visual novels, most of your time is spent reading, with choices that lead to different scenarios. The events repeat across four days, and scenes unfold both in daily life and at night as the mystery behind the war comes into focus. As you progress, you also unlock a set of minigames.

The game suits readers who already know the Fate series and want to spend more time with its cast. Because it continues the story of Fate/stay night, players new to the series will get the most from it after reading the original first.
