Fatekeeper is a first-person action RPG developed by Paraglacial and published by THQ Nordic. It entered Early Access on PC through Steam on June 2, 2026.
The game is set in a handcrafted world shaped by past cataclysms, where crumbling ruins hint at what went wrong long ago. It follows a focused story path, but areas such as ancient battlegrounds, underground caverns, forests, and ruined sanctuaries reward exploration with lore, relics, and hidden encounters.
Combat blends reactive melee with spellcasting. Enemies have distinct patterns, strengths, and weaknesses, so you need to read each fight and adapt. Some foes are better handled up close, while others are easier to bring down with the right spell. Skill matters as much as gear. Reading attack patterns, managing distance, and picking the right spell for each enemy are all part of winning harder fights.
Progression goes beyond raw stats. You shape your character through combat styles, attributes, and spell schools, and you loot weapons, armor, and artifacts to build strength, precision, or sorcery-focused characters. The right combination of gear and spells can turn a tough encounter, so experimenting with loadouts is encouraged.
Fatekeeper is single-player and suits fans of first-person fantasy RPGs who enjoy experimenting with builds. As an Early Access game, its content will continue to change. The current build supports English only and is aimed at mid-range to high-end PCs, so check the specs below before you buy.
