Felix The Reaper is a 3D puzzle game developed by Danish studio Kong Orange and published by Daedalic Entertainment, released on October 17, 2019. It is available on Windows PC and macOS through Steam, plus PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
You play Felix, a cheerful employee of the Ministry of Death who must arrange the fates of unlucky humans. Each level is a small diorama where your goal is to set up the chain of events that leads to someone's demise.
The standout mechanic is light. Felix can only walk in shadows, so you rotate the sun to change where shadows fall, then move and swap objects to open new paths. Puzzles grow from simple layouts to tricky multi-step solutions, and every move and sun rotation counts. The game rewards patience and planning far more than quick reflexes, and finding the solution to a stubborn level feels satisfying.
It is a single-player game with a dark, comic tone. Felix dances to an original soundtrack while working, and his story is driven by his hopeless crush on Betty, who works for the Ministry of Life.
It suits players who enjoy thoughtful, strict logic puzzles and quirky dark humor rather than action or reflex-based gameplay, and anyone looking for an unusual, memorable indie game.
Activation: PC keys activate on Steam and include the Mac version; console copies redeem on PSN, Microsoft Store or the Nintendo eShop.
