Figment is a musical action-adventure puzzle game developed and published by Danish studio Bedtime Digital Games. It launched on PC, macOS, and Linux on September 22, 2017, and later arrived on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.

You play as Dusty, the grumpy former voice of courage inside a troubled mind, joined by his upbeat bird companion Piper. Together you travel through areas of the mind, fighting off nightmare creatures with a wooden sword and solving environmental puzzles to restore balance.

Music drives the whole experience. The world is filled with trumpet trees, piano houses, and enemies that sing, and your actions change the dynamic soundtrack. Boss fights are staged as musical numbers, mixing combat with puzzle mechanics that require timing and observation.

The game is single-player only, with no online or co-op modes. Its world is split into distinct regions, including the bright Freedom Isles, the mechanical Clockwork Town, and the darker Pathways, each with its own hand-painted art style and musical theme.

Figment suits players who like relaxed isometric adventures, light combat, clever puzzles, and story-driven games that deal with real emotions such as fear and grief. It is also a good starting point before playing the sequel, Figment 2: Creed Valley.
