FREEDOM WARS Remastered is a high-speed, third-person action RPG developed by Dimps Corporation and published by Bandai Namco. Set in a desolate future where resources are scarce, humanity is forced into massive penal city-states called Panopticons. You play as a "Sinner," born into a million-year prison sentence, who must "volunteer" for dangerous combat operations to earn years off your time.
The remaster elevates the original experience with high-resolution textures, 60 FPS support, and significant quality-of-life updates. Players utilize a unique grappling-hook tool called a "Thorn" to navigate 3D environments and take down "Abductors"—giant mechanical monsters designed to kidnap citizens. Alongside your customizable android companion, known as an "Accessory," you will battle through a dark, stylish world to reclaim your liberty.
