Graveyard Keeper is a management simulation RPG developed by Lazy Bear Games and published by tinyBuild. It launched on August 15, 2018 for PC, macOS, Linux, and Xbox One, with PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch versions following in 2019.
After an accident, you wake up in a medieval village as its new graveyard keeper. Your goal is to find a way back to your loved ones, but first you need to keep the cemetery running. Bodies arrive regularly, and you decide how to prepare them, where to bury them, and how to raise the quality of each grave.
Around the graveyard, the game grows into a full crafting and production loop. You gather wood and stone, farm crops, build workbenches, and unlock new skills through a technology tree powered by red, green, and blue points. The church needs sermons to attract believers, and the village has traders who want specific goods.
Graveyard Keeper is known for its dark humor. Many tasks come with ethical shortcuts, such as reusing materials in ways villagers would not approve of, and the game leaves those choices to you. A dungeon to explore, a weekly calendar of characters to visit, and several quest lines add variety.
It is a single-player game that suits fans of Stardew Valley-style daily routines who want a stranger, more sarcastic setting and plenty of resource management.
PC: Most PC keys activate on Steam. The game runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux with very modest hardware needs.
Consoles: Console codes are redeemed on PlayStation Network, a Microsoft account, or the Nintendo eShop.
DLC: Expansions such as Breaking Dead, Stranger Sins, Game of Crone, and Better Save Soul are sold separately and need the base game.
Before you buy, check the activation platform and region on each offer, then follow our guide on how to activate your CD key. For news and updates, visit the official Graveyard Keeper website.
