Hello Neighbor 2 is a stealth horror adventure developed by Eerie Guest and tinyBuild and published by tinyBuild. It was released on December 6, 2022 for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.
You play as Quentin, an investigative journalist looking into strange events in the town of Raven Brooks. The story picks up right after the original Hello Neighbor, when police raid Mr. Peterson's house and find that he had kept children locked in his basement. Peterson has since vanished, and Quentin wants answers.
The core loop is sneaking into houses and crime scenes to gather clues and evidence. Each home hides puzzles, locked doors, and items you can combine or use in clever ways. The residents are AI-driven, so they notice what you do, react to noise, and chase you if they catch you snooping.
Compared to the first game, Hello Neighbor 2 is set in a larger open town with several houses, each owned by a different suspicious character. It is a single-player experience built around trial and error, observation, and piecing the mystery together.
It suits players who enjoy light horror, puzzle-solving, and stealth with a cartoon art style rather than graphic scares.
PC: PC keys activate on Steam. The game needs 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 and about 20 GB of storage, with an SSD recommended.
Consoles: PlayStation codes are redeemed on PlayStation Network, and Xbox codes on a Microsoft account.
Editions and DLC: A Standard Edition and a Deluxe Edition were sold, and add-ons such as the Hello-copter DLC need the base game.
