What is House Flipper 2?

House Flipper 2 is a renovation simulation game developed and published by Frozen District. It launched on PC on December 14, 2023, as the sequel to the popular original House Flipper, and has since come to consoles.

The core loop is simple and satisfying. You buy run-down properties, clean them up, repair what is broken, and redecorate the rooms before selling them at a profit. Jobs range from scrubbing dirty floors and removing trash to tearing down walls, laying tiles, painting, and choosing furniture.

The game offers two main ways to play. Story mode gives you a series of jobs and characters in the town of Pinnacove, while Sandbox mode removes restrictions so you can build houses from scratch with your own design. Many players use Sandbox to recreate real buildings or design dream homes.

House Flipper 2 also supports online co-op for two to four players through a free Co-op DLC, with cross-platform play between PC and consoles. You can renovate together in both Story and Sandbox modes. Creations can be shared and downloaded through mod.io, which adds plenty of community content.
