Islands of Insight is a puzzle adventure developed by Lunarch Studios and published by Behaviour Interactive. It was released on February 13, 2024 for PC.

You play as a Seeker exploring a realm of floating islands. The main island is an open world split into five biomes, and almost every corner hides a puzzle, from logic grids and pattern matching to perspective tricks and environmental challenges.

The game counts more than 10,000 puzzles across 24 types. Many respawn over time, so there is always something to solve. Over 20 Enclaves hold curated puzzle sets that unlock new puzzle types and areas, and you can glide between heights to reach hidden spots.

Islands of Insight launched as a shared online world. In October 2024 the developer released a final update that removed online servers, and the game is now played offline as a solo experience with progress kept locally.

Puzzles range from quick warm-ups to long, demanding grids, so the challenge grows with how far you push. Solving them raises your puzzle masteries and earns sparks along the way, and you can customize your character as you progress. You can follow the Path of Discovery campaign or simply wander, since the game lets you go where you want and solve what you want. There is no set route through the world.

It suits puzzle fans who enjoy The Witness style logic, free exploration, and playing at their own pace without combat.

• PC: Keys activate on Steam. There are no console versions.

• Offline play: Since the final October 2024 update, online features are gone and the game runs in offline mode.

• Edition: Only a standard edition is sold.
