Ittle Dew is a top-down action adventure and puzzle game developed and published by Swedish studio Ludosity. It released on July 23, 2013 for PC, with macOS and Linux support on Steam.
Adventurer Ittle Dew and her flying fox sidekick Tippsie crash onto a strange island full of loot and odd inhabitants. From there you explore connected areas and dungeons, pushing blocks, hitting switches, and fighting enemies to reach the next room.
The game trims the classic adventure formula down to its puzzles. Instead of a long list of items, you collect a small set of tools and combine them in clever ways to solve rooms. Many puzzles have more than one solution, and secrets and shortcuts reward players who look closely.
Ittle Dew is single-player. It also has a strong speedrunning following, and Steam leaderboards track the many ways you can break the game and finish faster. The hand-drawn HD art and light humor keep the tone friendly.
It suits players who enjoy Zelda-style dungeons, short puzzle adventures that can be finished in a few sittings, and games that reward experimentation. Its low system requirements also make it a good fit for older laptops and low-power PCs, and the game supports keyboard or controller play.
PC: Most keys activate on Steam and work on Windows, macOS, and Linux. The game needs about 1 GB of storage.
Controls: Keyboard works, and an Xbox 360 controller is supported.
Sequel: Ittle Dew 2+ is a separate, larger sequel and is sold on its own.
