Released in May 2023, LEGO 2K Drive moved the LEGO racing sub-genre into a massive, interconnected open world. You play as a rookie racer guided by the legendary Chuck Racington, competing against quirky rivals like the infamous Shadow Z. The game features a robust Garage where you can build vehicles brick-by-brick using over 1,000 unique pieces, or download community creations via the Creators Hub.
As of May 2026, the game has completed its "Year 1" roadmap and continues to support a thriving player base. The Drive Pass Season 4 update (released in early 2024) remains the most significant content expansion, introducing the icy Stargaze Summit biome and new special modes. Unlike many live-service titles, LEGO 2K Drive’s seasons do not have time limits, allowing you to purchase and complete any "Drive Pass" at your own pace even years after its release.
