Lost Eidolons: Veil of the Witch is a tactical roguelite RPG developed by Ocean Drive Studio and published by Ocean Drive Studio and Kakao Games. Set in the world of Lost Eidolons, it entered Early Access on Steam in November 2024 and fully released on October 9, 2025, for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch.
Shipwrecked and dying, you make a deal with a mysterious witch: become her champion and defeat her enemies. You wake on a cursed island overrun by the dead, with no memory and no way out except to carry out her bidding.
Battles are grid-based and turn-based. Elemental effects shape the field, so you can electrify soaked enemies or ignite flammable terrain, while enemy armor rewards choosing the right weapon for each strike.
You recruit a squad of five from nine characters, each with multiple combat roles, weapon sets and personalities. Leveling up unlocks and upgrades more than 200 skills, letting you build different team synergies every run.
Each run follows a branching map of random events, rewards and encounters. Death is part of progression: rewards spent at base camp permanently boost stats, and stronger bonds with allies reveal their stories. It is a single-player game.
It suits fans of Fire Emblem-style tactics and players who enjoy roguelites like Hades but want slower, turn-based combat.
Activation: PC keys activate on Steam. Console codes redeem on PlayStation Network, a Microsoft account or the Nintendo eShop.
Related game: Veil of the Witch is a stand-alone spin-off, so the original Lost Eidolons is not required.
DLC: Cosmetic add-ons such as the Main Character Skin Set are sold separately.
Before you buy, check the activation platform and region on each offer, and read how to activate your CD key if you are new to digital keys. For trailers and details, visit the Veil of the Witch Steam page.
