Lost Records: Bloom & Rage is a story-driven adventure game developed and published by DON'T NOD, the French studio known for Life is Strange. It launched in two parts called Tapes: Tape 1 arrived on February 18, 2025 and Tape 2 followed on April 15, 2025, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
The story jumps between two timelines. In the summer of 1995, Swann, Nora, Autumn, and Kat become close friends in the small town of Velvet Cove, Michigan, and start a punk band together. Twenty-seven years later, in 2022, a mysterious package brings the four women back together to face what happened that summer.
You play as Swann, a shy teen who films everything with her camcorder. Recording clips is a core mechanic: you choose what to film, assemble short videos, and build a personal record of the summer. Conversations use a branching dialogue system, and your choices shape relationships, scenes, and the ending.
The game is fully single-player and focuses on exploration, conversation, and character moments rather than combat. Accessibility options include adjustable text size and play without timed inputs, which makes it relaxed to control.
Lost Records suits players who enjoy character-driven mysteries, 90s nostalgia, and choice-based adventures in the style of Life is Strange or Tell Me Why.
PC: Most PC keys activate on Steam. The game needs Windows 10, about 48 GB of storage, and an SSD for installation.
PS5 and Xbox Series X|S: Console codes are redeemed on PlayStation Network or a Microsoft account. There is no PS4 or Xbox One version.
Both Tapes included: One purchase includes Tape 1 and Tape 2, so you get the complete story without buying a second part.
Before you buy, check the activation platform and region on each offer, then follow our guide on how to activate your CD key. For trailers and news, visit the official Lost Records website.
