Lost Skies is a cooperative survival adventure developed by Bossa Studios and published by Balor Games. It launched in full on PC via Steam on September 17, 2025, following an Early Access period.
The world is a broken sky of floating islands left behind by a fallen civilization. You explore ancient ruins, gather resources, and uncover what caused humanity's collapse. A mysterious power called Atlas keeps the islands afloat, and you use it to solve puzzles and unlock the technology left behind.
The standout system is skyship crafting. You place ship parts freely to build a flying vessel that serves as your home, transport, and weapon, balancing durability, agility, and firepower. Movement on foot is just as physical, with gliding, climbing, and a physics-based grappling hook for crossing cliffs and gaps.
Danger comes from ancient turrets and drones on the islands and from colossal beings that roam the skies, which you fight in large aerial battles. You can play solo or team up with friends in online co-op to share crafting, exploration, and combat.
Lost Skies suits fans of survival crafting, creative ship building, and exploration-driven co-op games. Players who enjoyed Bossa Studios' earlier sky-island game Worlds Adrift will recognize many of its ideas, now in a co-op survival format.
PC: Most keys activate on Steam. The game needs 64-bit Windows and at least 6 GB of RAM, and the developer recommends an SSD.
Add-ons: Extra content such as the Worlds Adrift Legacy Pack is sold separately and requires the base game.
Co-op: Each player in an online co-op group needs their own copy of the game.
Before you buy, check the activation platform and region on each offer, then follow our guide on how to activate your CD key. For news and patch notes, see the Lost Skies Steam page.
