Lysfanga: The Time Shift Warrior is an isometric tactical action game developed by French studio Sand Door Studio and published by Quantic Dream through its Spotlight label. It was released on February 13, 2024 for PC and on May 14, 2024 for Nintendo Switch.

You play as Imë, a Lysfanga warrior blessed by the Goddess of Time. In each arena you fight for a few seconds, then rewind time. Your previous attempt replays as a clone, called a remnant, while you take on a different group of enemies.

Stacking remnants lets you clear waves that one fighter could never handle alone. Arenas have time limits, bosses and some puzzles need several clones working together, and you unlock new weapons and spells as you go.

The story is set in the realm of Antala, where ancient cities have escaped a time lock and demons called the Raxes roam free. Replayable arenas, difficulty settings, and combat modifiers reward players who chase high scores. It is single-player only.

Each arena plays like a short tactical puzzle: you decide which enemies your first self handles, which your remnants take, and in what order. Spells and weapons add more options, and changing the difficulty or adding modifiers unlocks new rewards. Exploring the abandoned cities of the old continent also reveals more of the story behind the Raxes.

Lysfanga suits players who like fast combat that rewards planning, such as Hades-style action with a puzzle twist.
