Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass is a downloadable content pack for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, developed by Nintendo EPD and published by Nintendo for Nintendo Switch. It was released in six waves, starting on March 18, 2022 and finishing on November 9, 2023.

The pass adds 48 courses split into 12 cups. The tracks are remastered versions of courses from earlier Mario Kart games across many generations, from the SNES and GameCube eras to Wii, DS, 3DS, and the mobile game Mario Kart Tour.

Every new course works in the same modes as the base game, including Grand Prix, Time Trials, VS Races, local multiplayer, and online races. That gives the base roster of tracks a big boost in variety for both solo and group play.

Buying the pass once unlocks all six waves. It is also included at no extra cost for active Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members, but access through the membership ends if the subscription lapses, while a purchased pass stays on your account.

It suits Mario Kart 8 Deluxe owners who have played the original tracks many times and want fresh courses for parties, online racing, or time trials. It is also a simple way to revisit classic tracks from older consoles without buying those games again.
