Mario Tennis Fever is an arcade tennis game developed by Camelot Software Planning and published by Nintendo. It was released worldwide on February 12, 2026, exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2.
Matches use simple controls with plenty of depth. You mix topspin, slice, lob and drop shots while reading your opponent, and long rallies charge a Fever Gauge. When it fills, you can fire a Fever Shot whose effect depends on the racket you chose.
Fever Rackets are the main new idea. The game includes 31 of them, each with its own special Fever Shot effect, so racket choice matters as much as character choice. Picking a racket that suits your character and play style adds a layer of strategy to each game.
The roster features 38 characters from the Mario series. Solo players can follow the Adventure story mode, compete in Tournament cups or work through Trial Towers full of challenges. Free Play, Mix It Up special matches and a motion-controlled Swing Mode round out the options.
For friends, the game supports local wireless, online and LAN play for two to four players, plus Local GameShare. It suits families, casual players and competitive fans who want a fast, colorful tennis game on Switch 2.
Platform: The game is a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive. Digital codes redeem on the Nintendo eShop with a Nintendo Account.
Region: Nintendo eShop codes are often tied to a region. Make sure the code matches your Nintendo Account region.
Online play: Online matches require a Nintendo Switch Online membership, which is sold separately.
