Medieval Dynasty is a survival, life simulation, and building RPG developed by Render Cube and published by Toplitz Productions. It left Steam Early Access on September 23, 2021, and PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions followed on October 6, 2022.
You start as a young man with nothing in a harsh medieval valley. To survive, you gather wood and stone, hunt animals, farm crops, and craft tools that wear down with use. Seasons change through the year, and winters demand careful preparation.
Over time you build houses and workshops, invite villagers to settle, and assign them jobs. You manage food, taxes, and production while your village grows from a few huts into a busy settlement. You can also marry, have children, and pass control to an heir to continue your dynasty.
A co-op mode on The Oxbow map lets up to four players build a village together. It arrived on PC in December 2023 and on consoles in June 2024. The game can also be played fully solo.
Quests from neighboring villages and local lords guide your early progress and teach the basics. Skills for areas such as hunting, building, and farming improve as you work, technology points unlock new building types, and reputation earned from quests and trade makes villagers more willing to join you.
Selling surplus goods such as food, tools, and clothing at traders is the main way to fund new buildings.
It suits players who enjoy slow-paced survival, crafting, and town management in a realistic historical setting.
Activation: PC keys activate on Steam. Console versions use the PlayStation Store or Microsoft Store.
DLC: Optional cosmetic and item packs are sold separately; the base game contains all core maps and modes.
Co-op: Co-op uses The Oxbow map and supports up to four players online.
