Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection is an action RPG compilation developed and published by Capcom. It was released in March 2026 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch, and it gathers the three Star Force games first released on Nintendo DS between 2006 and 2008.
The collection includes seven games, covering every version: Star Force Pegasus, Leo, and Dragon; Star Force 2 Zerker x Ninja and Zerker x Saurian; and Star Force 3 Black Ace and Red Joker. Each version has small differences in content, as in the originals.
The story is set in the year 220X. Geo Stelar, an 11-year-old who stopped going to school after his astronaut father disappeared, merges with an alien named Omega-Xis to become Mega Man and fight threats in the Wave World. Battles use Battle Cards in fast, grid-based real-time fights.
The original dual-screen games are adapted to a single screen with layout options and a graphics smoothing filter. Assist settings include autosave, adjustable encounter rates, speed boost, Mega Buster power, damage reduction, and HP recovery after battle. Bonus Cards from past events and toys are included, though not every card.
Online play adds Ranked, Casual, and Friend matches in each game, though cross-platform play and saves are not supported. A gallery holds over a thousand artworks plus original and arranged soundtracks. The collection suits series fans and newcomers to card-based action RPGs, and fans of the era can also look at the Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection.
PC: PC keys usually activate on Steam. The game needs 64-bit Windows 11 and about 7 GB of storage.
Consoles: PlayStation codes are redeemed on PlayStation Network, Xbox codes on a Microsoft account, and Switch codes on the Nintendo eShop. Saves do not carry across platforms.
