Microsoft Office Standard 2024, officially Office LTSC Standard 2024, is a one-time-purchase version of Office for organizations, released in September 2024 through Microsoft's volume licensing program. LTSC stands for Long-Term Servicing Channel, meaning the apps receive security updates but not new features during their support period.
The suite includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote. Compared with Office LTSC Professional Plus 2024, Standard does not include Access. Publisher is not part of any Office 2024 edition, because Microsoft is retiring it.
Office 2024 brings improvements developed since Office 2021, including updated Excel functions such as dynamic charts and new text functions, accessibility improvements, better performance, and refreshed visuals. Some cloud-dependent features available to Microsoft 365 subscribers, such as Copilot, are not included.
