Missile Command Delta is a turn-based strategy game developed by Mighty Yell and 13AM Games and published by Atari. It was released on July 8, 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
Instead of fast arcade reflexes, each round asks you to plan. Missiles arrive in waves, and you spend a limited pool of defenses to stop them. Careful placement can trigger a chain of explosions that takes out several missiles at once and saves resources for the next turn. Every turn matters, because one poor choice can leave the bunker exposed when the next wave arrives.
The strategy sits inside a narrative thriller. After a dare goes wrong, you and three friends are trapped in an abandoned Cold War missile command bunker. Between missile alerts, you explore the bunker, open locked rooms, read documents, and solve puzzles that reveal what happened there.
Exploring deeper also uncovers new missile and enemy types, so the defense puzzle keeps changing. The game is single-player and leans on a dusty, retro-future look of command consoles and supercomputers.
It suits players who like slow, tactical decisions, mystery stories, and puzzle-solving more than twitch action. Fans of the faster, score-chasing take on the series can also look at Missile Command: Recharged.
PC: PC keys usually activate on Steam. The game needs 64-bit Windows 10 and about 1 GB of storage.
Consoles: Console codes are redeemed on PlayStation Network, a Microsoft account, or the Nintendo eShop, depending on the version.
Single game: Missile Command Delta is a standalone game, not an add-on for older Missile Command releases.
