The gods have fallen and a mist called the Gyldenmist is consuming the world. Revived by a girl named Dew, you become a Gyldhunter who must harvest Gyldenblood and repair the Web of Fate. The setting has a bleak, gothic tone, with ruined lands, corrupted monsters, and forgotten relics hidden in the mist.

Each run follows an extraction loop. You enter the mist, gather loot and relics, fight corrupted creatures and other players, then reach a Returner Woodling to escape. Die before you extract and you lose everything you carried.

Combat is melee-focused with a free-aim system that lets you target weak points. Six classes each use two weapon stances you can swap mid-fight, and talent trees, gem affixes, and active skills support many build styles. You can focus on heavy assaults, evasive play, crowd control, or defense, and tactical items add another layer to each fight.

You can play solo as a lone wolf or team up in a three-player squad. Working back-to-back with teammates makes it easier to take down large monsters and outplay rival squads. Mistfall Hunter suits players who enjoy high-risk extraction games and skill-based action combat.
