You start a new life in the town of Planimal Point, where you plant, water, and harvest crops on your own farm. The twist comes from strange slimes: using them on your crops causes mutations, with up to 72 different results depending on the crop, slime, and season.

Some mutations become Planimals, loyal crop creatures that follow you on adventures. You take them into turn-based battles and dungeons as you work to stop the evil SlimeCo corporation. Three seasons, Dry, Wet, and Dark, change the weather and what you can grow.

Away from combat, you can build and decorate your house, craft furniture and farm machines such as irrigation pipes and a pickler, and turn produce into artisanal goods to sell. Building relationships with townsfolk unlocks store discounts. Monster Harvest is a single-player game.

It suits fans of cozy farming sims who also want light RPG combat and creature collecting. The bright pixel art style and relaxed daily routine make it approachable for newcomers to the genre, while the mutation system gives completionists a long list of Planimals to discover across every season of the year.
