Monsters are Coming! is a tower-survivor action roguelite developed by Ludogram and published by Raw Fury. It was released on PC via Steam on November 20, 2025. Early coverage of the game also used the longer name Monsters are Coming! Rock & Road.
Each run puts you in charge of a city that never stops rolling forward. Your hero runs around the outskirts gathering wood, stone and gold while waves of monsters chase the caravan. Wood keeps the engines burning and boosts towers, stone repairs damage and gold buys new structures.
The strategy layer comes from building the city your way. You pick a town hall, then add archery outposts, necromancer towers and even fire-breathing dragons. At shelters along the route you buy new districts and choose where to place them, so every build adapts to the run.
Combat blends bullet-heaven chaos with tower defense. Bosses, environmental obstacles, side hordes and special weapons push you to balance risk and reward: stray from the road for richer loot, or stay close to protect the walls. Compasses earned at the end of a run carry over and make later attempts easier.
The goal is to reach the Ark, humanity's last shelter. Hero progression and unlocks give long-term goals across many runs.
It suits fans of roguelites such as Vampire Survivors, players who enjoy tower defense and base building, and anyone who likes short, replayable sessions.
Activation: PC keys activate on Steam. The game is single-player only.
Edition: The base game contains the full roguelite. Steam lists two separate DLC packs, which need the base game.
Language: Supports English, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Russian, Turkish and more.
