Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution is a 3D arena fighting game developed by CyberConnect2 and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. It was released in September 2014 for PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360, with the Steam version arriving on September 15, 2014.
Battles take place in open 3D arenas where you dash, jump, throw items, and chain combos into ninja techniques. Each fighter has signature jutsu and powerful ultimate moves, and you can call in support ninjas to assist mid-fight.
The roster includes more than 100 playable characters and support ninjas from the Naruto Shippuden anime. A new character, Mecha-Naruto, was designed for this game by series creator Masashi Kishimoto.
The Ninja World Tournament mode puts several fighters into the same arena at once, and you can also fight local or online versus matches against other players. Characters, stages, and battles draw on the Naruto Shippuden anime, so fans will recognize many famous fights and rivalries.
Storm Revolution suits Naruto fans and players who prefer flashy, approachable fighting games over strict competitive fighters. It sits between Storm 3 and Storm 4 in the series and runs well on older or low-end PCs, which makes it an easy entry point.
PC: PC keys activate on Steam. The game is a 2014 release, so it runs on modest hardware.
Consoles: The original console versions are for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, so modern console buyers should look at newer Storm games.
DLC: Costume and variety packs are sold separately and need the base game.
Before you buy, check the activation platform and region on each offer, then follow our guide on how to activate your CD key. For the next chapter, see Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 key prices. Full details are on the Naruto Storm Revolution Steam page.
